Biblical perspective

  • How well do your students understand and use a Biblical perspective of the subject(s) you teach?

  • First, let me share what “sincerely respond” means....
Second, let me share what the opposite of “sincerely respond” means. Let me share what “insincerely” and “react” mean....

  • Imagine: Your student Patrick is in an accident. Amazingly, he’s OK. Or at least everyone thinks he is. Then his parents notice that Patrick no longer recalls, asks, or writes down questions, three things he used to do. And he doesn’t process questions either. It’s as if he doesn’t hear them when someone speaks or see them when reading.

  • Every Christian will at some point of his life come to a “crisis of belief”. It is at that point that he will have to make a decision that will radically affect every area of his life. This watershed point is when a person must make the decision as to whether or not he will accept the Bible as being the inspired, infallible and inerrant Word of God.

  • I remember it well. I had just developed a series of diagrams using various relationships between the sun, moon and earth to illustrate some of the truths found in passages of Scripture such as 1 John 1:5; Matthew 5:14, 16; John 15:5; and 1 John 2:15. I had developed these diagrams having read Romans 1:20 that tells us we can see and understand God’s invisible attributes by the things He created.

His website, Close the Gap Now, has resources to challenge thinking and practise and helpful examples to keep everything practical. His presentation, What framework can you use, can help you get started, but he has also provided 4 teacher training kits that can be downloaded:
